- Since 1912, the original L.L.Bean™ 6″ Bean Boots are made with a full grain leather upper and waterproof rubber. The timeless duck boots feature a lace up closure with a pull tab at the back for easy on-and-off wear.

Love them. I wear a 9 in boots, ordered an 8 as recommended at Beans, and I still have room even with wool hiking socks. But it’s ok, the lacing helps keep things in place—no rubbing or discomfort. I’ve wanted to replace mine for 20 years, happy I could do it through Zappos.

I am in love with these boots. They are super cute (husband approved) and super sturdy at the same time. Comfortable right out of the box with winter socks. I’m 5’2” and the 6 inch was definitely the way to go. True to the size guide— I have wide feet in normal sizing and usually have to take an 8.5 in regular-width boots for that reason. These I ordered in a 7W and they fit perfectly.

The fit (using LL Bean’s recommendations for sizing) was fine, but I found these boots to be very uncomfortable. Actually, if you just wear them around the house, they’re fine. But who does that with waterproof boots?!! The rubber sole is so thin that when walking outside, you feel every little thing like gravel, roots in the ground, etc. right through the boot. I’m returning them for this reason.

I like these a lot. Perfect for NY rainy days. I followed the advice stating to size down one full size. I typically wear a 7 or 7.5, and I ordered these in a 6 wide. They fit perfectly considering I am in between sizes and between regular and wide width. I think they’re very comfortable and clean up easily. I have worn them for muddy walks by the lake as well as for 9 hrs straight at work, and my feet stay comfortable and dry no matter what.

Love these! Very cute and stylish. They’re comfortable and fit just right! Definitely follow the LL Bean guide and order a size smaller from your normal. I was nervous at first because I can wear 10-11 , so when they said to size down I was unsure if I should get a 9 or 10. I went with a size 9 and they fit perfectly. Can’t wait to wear them for fall/spring!!

I have had men’s Bean Boots for several years, and have been very pleased with them. The last pair I had was size 9 Narrow, and they lasted for about three years and 800 miles of dog walking. When I tried to order another pair, I found that the Men’s Narrow versions were no longer available. After consultation with the friendly LL Bean staff, I settled on Women’s Size 10 Narrow. They fit just fine, and I am looking forward to another 800 miles of comfortable hiking.

SO comfortable! I wore these in the snow last weekend and my feet stayed nice and warm. I even walked through clay/cement like mud and was worried I ruined them. Luckily, it wiped right off with no stains. I love these!

I love these boots! These are my first pair of LL Bean boots and they did not disappoint. I’ve only worn them about 4 times, but they are already broken in and so comfortable!

I was worried about the sizing because they run large for extra socks. They fit great if I wear an extra thick pair or if I wear thin ones. They’re easy to slip on or keep tied. The quality is great and of course the staff was very helpful.

Love them! Follow the size recommendations and go down a size. I’m an 8.5 normally. So I took off the half to 8. Then down full size to a 7. They are prefect. The quality is great and so happy the can be resoled in the future when needed. Helping save waste. American quality and product

I’m so happy with these boots! This is my second pair of Bean Boots and after my last pair held up for over ten years(they’re still going strong btw) I decided to buy a second pair in a different color. I love these. Much more comfortable than I would have expected. Much more flexible than they look. They have excellent traction on gravelly surfaces, but do not pick up a lot of dirt to track in. I got excited when I found out that some of them are available in narrow widths.

These boots might not be the cutest, but they do their job. I needed something watertight for spring, summer and fall and these fit the bill. Wore them around the house for several hours and they’re perfect. I have another pair of waterproof LL Beans that are insulated for winter and they have held up fabulously, so I knew I couldn’t go wrong. I normally wear a 5.5 wide shoe, but couldn’t get a wide until size 6, so ordered 6W. They fit just as expected – a little long, but otherwise ok. Extra thick socks help.
