It’s perfect! I only wish there was a matching lunch box; this backpack will help my Kindergartner and will grow with him well into 2nd grade. It perfectly fits that take-home folder, water bottle, jacket, extra clothes, a snack and it’s not bulky or heavy.

I bought the junior book bag for my son and he used that for preschool, Kindergarten & 1st grade. The bag is still in good shape. He is taller and needed a bigger bag so I bought him this one.

I purchased this for my 8 year old son, who is starting 3rd grade. The quality, colors and durability of this bag cannot be beat! One issue we have with it is that the side pockets for water bottles are not very deep. He has a moderately sized water bottle for school and it won’t stay in the side pockets at all. Not a deal breaker and we are overall still happy – but definitely worth noting!
