The jr book bag was purchased for my son when he started pre-k 14 years ago. We still have it. I brought my grandson one, since he is starting pre-k this year. It fits him perfect.

Perfect size for a kindergarten student. It isn’t so big that he is overwhelmed. But, it will hold a folder, library book, change of clothes in a gallon ziploc, and a bento box inside a small insulated lunch bag. He likes it because his big brother has the next size up and he wants to be just like him! I like it because it will hold up to the beating I’m sure he will put it through!

My 3.5 & almost 5 year old love these backpacks. We have the on the shortest strap length & the backpack itself fills their backs, so i think they will be useful for another two years, size wise. Very happy with the durability of the material and the pockets, zippers etc. A reusable water bottle fits perfect in the side pocket. Really happy we got these! We purchased a red & green one. My only suggestion would be to make more colors! We knew they would both fight over blue & did not want two the same, so we got red & green. We would have loved an orange one.

This backpack is made of very sturdy fabric with a solid zipper. Our kiddo is in Kindergarten, but I expect this bag will last him a few years at least. And it looks absolutely adorable!!
