Even though many reviewers criticize the tight ankle, I am a woman with super slim ankles……. so that means I LOVE, LOVE these jeans. They fit my ankles perfectly, and I have no trouble getting them off and on. The pant legs themselves are not too tight either (in fact, I’d like them just a tad tighter) and the waist is plenty roomy and comfortable. I think I could probably wear a 12 in these, actually. However, I just received them today and haven’t washed them yet or worn them for more than 10 minutes. I’m hoping they will shrink a tiny bit when laundered and don’t have “too much stretch” throughout the day. FYI, I got these in the black, which is a slightly faded black ~ almost a charcoal. I personally really like the color. One more note: I have a 31″ inseam and the regular is a perfect length for me in this style. (I wear the medium tall length in the Perfect Fit bootcut pants.)

Comfy pull-on jeans with actual functional pockets! They work well to hold my iPhone mini. The fabric is a bit heavier than most pull-on jeans (spring-fall weight) and feels very cotton-y.

I’ve read a lot about these pants being too tight at the ankle, so I had to give them a try. My ankle, right above the ankle bone, measures 8 inches. The pants, at the bottom, measure about 12 inches. So I hope that helps people. I will agree that these run small, even though they’re a teeny bit too long for me (5’4″). I ordered a size 16. They fit a little snug, but okay. They would never have fit my old size 16 body before I lost 21 pounds. They stay put pretty well around the waist, but I still find myself tugging them back up sometimes (not enough to make them uncomfortable). Someday I want to try one of the blue jean ones and see if they fit differently. For some reason, a lot of these jeans tend to run smaller in black for some reason.

Just got these skinnies in black, and they are a perfect fit, from my ankles to my hips. They have the look of having a fly zipper, but they pull up easily and fit snugly. I need to get another pair in white!

I really love these jeans, at least the pair I bought in 2020. The new pair in the same size is a lot smaller. Just be aware if you purchase them that you may need to size up from other LLBean jeans. Even the sizing chart didn’t help. LLBean did try to help by sending me another pair to try, but I was running into the same problem.
