This is the absolutely thickest fleece type blanket I have every found. I must own 8 or 9 nice fleece blankets but they are no where as thick or warm. I use the twin size as a throw for a family of tall people—which works just great. Washes and dries well — almost no fuzz or lint comes off.

I bought an inexpensive fleece throw for my Mom for Christmas. She is in a nursing home and loved it but when it was washed it created LOTS of little pieces of fleece that stuck to everything. We needed a lint roller! So I did the right thing and bought her this lovely throw! It is beautiful, soft and barely sheds (less than a tablespoon on the first washing). Thank you LLBean!

I love all things LL Bean, but not this blanket. I took the blanket out of the bag and put it on the new king size bed that I just purchased, along with the brand new flannel sheet set from the Bean as well. This blanket is SO statcticky, my husband and I could hear it sizzle as we laid it on the bed. I immediately felt the static electricity running through my body. Needless to say, I packed it back in the bag and returned it the next day. I’ll choose a cotton blanket next time. BTW, love the new flannel sheets, they’re the best!

I ordered a Queen size blanket and It seems to be a good Summer, Spring, Fall weight blanket. However, I will use a down comforter for our cold Wi. winter weather. One negative is that this blanket sticks to the sheets and bedspread.

Nice light blanket. King size fits well on queen size mattress because you can easily tuck in blanket on both sides of the bottom half of the mattress so that blanket stays in one spot. In winter need one or two warm blankets on top of this blanket for extra warmth.

I waited for months for this blanket on back order for my son, and we were very excited for it to arrive last week. It is wicked cozy. But it also is shedding everywhere even through two washes. There is blue lint on our couch, on our bed, on towels, on underwear…just everywhere. Will this calm down after more washes, or is this just going to shed away? Time will tell.

This is a wonderful quality blanket and I think we will enjoy it. I am disappointed in the color, however. I ordered Raven Blue, which looks like a darker navy in the catalog and online. It actually is lighter, however; in reality, it looks more like the color pictured in Shade Blue. Also wish there were some other darker colors (we have a black Lab who sleeps on our bed…).
