the gumshoe is my daily shoe. It goes well with both khakis and jeans.
definitely order a size down and wear heavy socks. This shoe is great for non snowy days.

These are perfect for when there’s heavy rain or up to 4 inches of snow on the ground. They are waterproof and have a firm grip. I have wide feet so I ordered one size down as recommended in an 11 EE. However, they were too narrow at the tip of the foot box and I ended up ordering another pair in 12 EE. They are a bit large, but with heavy socks they fit and are comfortable.
Overall it is a great product for the price. I would highly recommend these shoes.

These boots are rugged, waterproof and comfortable. I where them for gardening when the grass or soil is wet .

Be sure to follow the sizing advice! In all other shoes/boots, an 8 is perfect, these in an 8, looked and fit me like clown shoes!. Excellent other than that, 7s with the sheepskin insoles and beans wool hiking/boot socks are perfect. Thanks for the excellent products and services!

I can’t believe how much I love this shoe! I purchased these to wear for my summer job mowing in the early mornings at the golf course. They are perfect for that, keeping my feet dry in the morning dew as well as in the rain. But these shoes are so comfortable that I find myself wearing them most of the time in the yard at home, too!
I always wear a size 12 shoe, so I was skeptical about ordering a size down for the Gumshoe. I ordered an 11 and a 12. The 11 turned out to be perfect.

Love the idea the idea they are waterproof. However every time I slide my foot into them, the tongue folds under. I have to fight with the shoe to get them on. As a result I hardly wear them. Very disappointed.

These boot are excellent. This is the second pair I have and the first pair lasted longer than I can remember. The new pair fit just like I’ve had forever. You can’t go wrong.

When I was a younger man, I owned a pair of the LLBean Gumshoes. They served me well in wet and dry conditions, and lasted years. After a couple of moves I’m not so sure what happened to them, or I’d most likely still be adorning my feet with them today. Decided to order a new pair. These are not the Gumshoe I was accustomed to. Beyond the sizing being all wrong (followed advice regarding ordering down), the leather is a lesser grade, thinner, and even cheap looking. This is not the same shoe. Disappointed!!!

The sizing is way off and the tongue of this shoe is troublesome. They are waterproof though.

I put my shoes to work, and they’ve never disappointed me. In the water, in the snow, in the woods, working home building projects, or just walking through the wet grass in the morning, whatever comes up, I never hesitate to pull these on and they do their job. I actually have two pair: 1 pair for abuse, which I never even try to clean as I have a 2nd pair for show when I go to the store, to the neighbors home, anywhere out in public when I need some dryness and comfort on a sloppy day.

Traction is outstanding. That said, they can present tripping hazards until the wearer is adjusted to them. Its a very good thing!!!!

I am happy with my purchase. I recommend following the size guidelines for a great fit. Shoes are comfortable, built well and keep my feet dry in the tall wet grass and muck of northern Michigan.
