Stephanie –
I was SO excited about this shoe. I have the regular version of it without the Sherpa lining and I wear them all the time. I ordered the same size (because I know these run big) and the first thing I noticed was the lining wasn’t sewn in. I put on the shoe with the lining and my heel didn’t quite fit right. It wasn’t down far enough in the shoe for my heel not to constantly be slipping out. So I took the lining out. But then the quilted layer under is not as comfortable or again, sewn down and it slips. I ordered a thin non slip foot pad and have since used that. Now the shoe fits perfectly and my heel does not slip. I love how it is cozy and Sherpa lined, but I took one star off for the odd heel depth. Thank you!

I’ve had many pair of LL Bean gum shoes and you either like the look or you don’t. I do wish these were glossy. Not crazy about the mat finish. That said, the shinny ones do get dull quickly so maybe I should warm up to these. The fit is funny. They are really big and wide. I wear an 8.5 narrow so I get them in an 8 and have to put in a BIG insole on top of their insole to make them work. Would be nice if their insole was all shearling so that you didn’t have to wear socks and could be toasty warm that way. But they will hold a pair of CatTracks on the bottom if you wanted more stability on icy conditions. I’m returning them because I just didn’t love them.

I love these rain shoes but I needed a size 5 and they do not come in that size. Love the sherpa collar. I went with a Sperry duck shoe instead.

The heel was way to wide for me. I tried cinching them up with ties but it did not work. I pulled as hard as I felt I could without breaking the rawhide. I tried them with heavy socks, but my heels just kept slipping out with every step I took. I had to return them. I was sad since I was really looking forward to wearing them when it rains or when I am watering the yard.

This shoe was more than a size too large. I ordered down a size and it was still a size too large.

I trouped through a field bio major wearing Bean Duck boots, laced up above the ankle, and thought these would be nice light rain shoes. The Bean moccasins are extremely wide. I tried on both the lined and unlined, hands down the lined fit better but they were still too wide. I do NOT have narrow feet, in fact one foot is wide due to an old injury. I am guessing my old college pair fit better because the high top anchored them on my feet and I needed them for sloshing through flooded meadows. I also disliked the stiff leather laces. They look nice but on a wide shoe that has to be laced, they are not great.

These Mocs are very comfortable. I can wear them all day and barely know I have them on. They look great with casual pants or jeans. They do run about one size large. If you are usually a size 7, order a size 6 etc.

I love these ducks! However, I ordered as recommended and went a size smaller… I still needed to return them for another size smaller. Today I am ordering another size smaller (so, 2 sizes smaller than normal) because I can not wear these as big as they are.

These are very comfortable and warm. They slip right on when I am taking the dog out. I would say they do run a little big and I wear with thicker socks.

I would have loved these if they came in my size. I need a size 5 and they only went down to size 6.

Perfect pair of wet weather shoes to keep my the door. I love that they are lined with fleece. It is exactly the rain shoe I was looking for ! Warmth for cold rainy day or light snow. Very difficult to find a rain shoe with warmth.
More colors please. Red or bright yellow would be Great !
