Just T –
Pricey, but solid LL Bean quality built into this rain jacket
Patricia N –
As usual with Bean this is a very well made product
Holds up well with lots of heavy spring rains in
NE Pa
Would def recommend
Sparkplug –
It fits and looks fine. The adjustable hood is a plus. It’s thin. I could have used a flannel lining instead of the mesh polyester to give make it easier putting on and off and giving a bit more heft. I’ve used it for long walk in a sprinkle which is the only time I’d wear it and it worked perfectly.
Charles B –
Found jacket to not be of typical LL Bean quality, with LL Bean stamped on front instead of embossed
Bill –
Waiting for it to rain so I can test it out. Looks and feels good
Fishing A –
This jacket doesn’t seem to be the waterproof item as advertised.
Bilfer –
Have bought a few rain jackets before.Wore this one on recent trip to Iceland.Very disappointed.Plan on returnin
Older T –
Excellent travel rain coatfits easily in day pack.
Dew36 –
Wore for the first time walking in a light rain and was soaked within 10 minutes. It has to be a defect because LLBean would never claim this as waterproof without extensive testing…but it has failed miserably.
Ken K –
Have not used this as temperature has been too warm and little rain to merit taking it out. Purchased it to have a compact pack-able rain coat for a LL Bean Kayak trip. Fit seems great
Bubba –
Good jacket. At 5’10” and 175#, the medium fits well and fits a medium weight fleece underneath. Perfect. The stretch is an added bonus. The pit zips are actually more like side pockets on the side of the jacket, not in the armpit, which I’ve never seen before and question the effectiveness. When new, it is repelling water well, but I know that will take constant maintenance to remain effective. Light weight and sturdy, but would appreciate an extra layer over shoulders and at elbows for more durability (and well, yes, more weight).
