I wore this coat in driving rain for a 1 mile walk. I did not get wet and neither did dog treats or handkerchief in the pockets. I would have given it 5 stars but I thought the coat would be more substantial instead of basically a shell. Having said that there is enough room to layer if needed for cooler weather.

Nice fit, material and style. I’m tall and sleeves are perfect. Wish it had inside pockets and not the elastic waist strings that stick out.

Lightweight and long. I bought this jacket to walk my dog in the rain when I’m in the city. It’s good looking and covers my leg to the knee. I often put a down sweater jacket underneath if it’s cold. Works well for me!

Love how lightweight this jacket is. It came right before we had a week of consistent rain. I’m so happy I had it that week. I was worried the zipper was going to get stuck, but as I wore it more, the zipper loosened up and works really well now!

I appreciate the long length, two-way zipper, functional hood, and stylish look of the jacket. My one beef is the mesh inside backing on the pockets, which makes them ineffective for keeping hands warm.

Great raincoat -only complaint is that the zipper is finicky, which is annoying. I’ve decided to put up with it for now, but LLBean should look into this – haven’t had this difficulty w/ their products before.

Lightweight and waterproof, this jacket is terrific for warmer weather and for traveling. Comfortable to wear even on a sticky day! Just wish it had snaps or tabs so you could close it in a hurry – the zipper is very long and it can take time to get it all done up.

I would have loved this coat if it weren’t corn the fit. My measurement were within the parameter on your ‘size chart’ and still the two I bought were too snug around the waist and hips. ie: not much accommodation for a woman shape . The three that I bought all were too straight,although technically they fit, it was hard to sit down!

I’ve only worn this coat once since i received it, but really, really like it. It’s light weight and just the right coverage on the cloudy, misty day that I worn it. That’s just what i was looking for. Nothing heavy or for storm protection. So I can’t remark to wearing in downpours. No complaints on the fit. I’m 5’8″ & 143 lbs. Adequate sleeve length for me.

This coat length jacket is versatile enough for casual to business dress. Lightweight, functional and conservatively appropriate. Adjustable snap wrist closures secure the sleeve and unsnap for ease of removal. I’m 5’4″ 130-135# and bought a medium which fits comfortably with room to spare when heavier clothes are needed.
This is a replacement for the exact item which I thought was lost, that I purchased about 3 years ago. Since receiving the new jacket, I’ve found the original. So now I have two. Thanks LL Bean for your rapid response in shipping the replacement which was received before leaving on a trip where the jacket would be needed.

The Meridian Rain Coat is perfect for everyday wear and especially wonderful for traveling. It is waterproof and has a roomy hood, which together with the slightly longer length keeps you dry. It is roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath. It folds small. I couldn’t ask for a better rain coat!

The sleeves on this petite jacket are way too long and I will be returning it. The overall length is fine. I tried to roll up the sleeves but they were a constant bother. I don’t want to pay for a tailor to alter them.
