I love the colors. Well made windbreaker. I owned an all blue one of these in the late 80’s when I was in high school. So cool to see they LL Bean is still making these and I’m glad I ordered. It’s really nice looking and fits great.

This is a great-looking, lightweight, and packable jacket. I should note that it’s definitely in the windbreaker or light raincoat category, so the material has that slightly slick feeling rather than being soft and cozy like a typical hoodie. Also, it’s not at all lined or insulated, so it won’t keep you warm by itself, but because the material doesn’t breathe a lot, it would probably work well over a sweater or sweatshirt in chilly weather. I don’t consider that lack of insulation to be a bad thing – I bought it for life in a generally hot, wet climate – but I do think it’s worth mentioning for anyone reading this to make an informed choice.
