Hands-down my favorite kids fleece. Superior material that doesn’t pill. However I’m always a tad disappointed by the color choices. But that goes across the board with L.L. Bean. My daughter is super girly and usually only gets one choice in that regard. Don’t get me wrong this was a beautiful color, more jewel toned thankfully, but I think another choice or two would be nice. Girly girls go outside too!

We just got this coat for my ten-year-old son and it’s already a favorite. We chose the grey/blue combination which is really nice. The jacket is very true to size. He is 4′ 8″ and 80 pounds and the medium (size 10-12) is a perfect fit.

I have purchased 2 of these fleece jackets – one in pink and the other in blue. I am 4’10” and the size 14-16 fits well and allows room for a sweater. May usual size is 2 petite and many times, the sleeves are much too long depending upon the country of origin. I find that the children’s size 14-16 to fit very well.

We had the toddler version, but my son keeps growing! He insisted on continuing to wear his way-too-small jacket, and when I swapped it out for this larger version he did not throw a tantrum. If you have a toddler, you know that’s a huge win! Comfortable, great quality, and easy enough for a three year old to zip if you get it started.

Love this fleece! However, I ordered the striped red white and blue for my son and I received the hot pink. I am sending it back. I think now after looking on the LL Bean website that the wrong picture is listed here. Itās a super nice fleece though. Much better than Patagonia at a lower price.
