Much less puffy than expected, though maybe that is a feature, not a bug? I expected an old school puffy puffer vest and was unpleasantly surprised at how un-bulky it was. I wanted that bulk. I also can’t imagine it will be very warm, being as thin as it is. Sizing – normally I wear an LL Bean size Large Slightly Fitted and have a good amount of wiggle room inside the garments. And while I purchased that same size here, this vest is much, much smaller than any other LL Bean size large anything, including Slim Fit shirts. Not only will it be hard to wear a bottom layer thicker than a t-shirt, I can barely even zip it up. So, it runs small.

Medium felt too big even though I’m typically between a medium and large. Also collar felt too big.

I like the weight and warmth of this vest. The colors are vibrant and make it stand out nicely as well. The XL Tall was cut great for my torso length but the wrap around area would allow for a bit more tummy than I currently have. That is kind of refreshing actually. I went ahead and ordered the L Tall and hope that when it arrives it will fit this dad bod a bit more snugly. I am 6’4″ and 215lbs (give er’ take).

Fits great! Just what I was looking for. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is the fact there are no inside pockets. Was hoping for one.
