Perfect all around. I purchased a medium. I’m 5-7, 155 pounds, and it fits not too small nor large on me. It kept me warm for quick in and out of the car trips to get food in 30 degree weather. The collar does not lay flat as a fyi. It stands straight up which is good to provide added warmth, but I can see that as a problem for others who dont like the collar touching their jaw.

This is an incredible vest. To make this vest even better— The windproof material is a little uncomfortable. Too sturdy and not soft. It would be NICE to have a thin layer of flannel or fleece on the inside covering the windproof material. Awesome vest.

Lightweight and fits well, and it was excellent for keeping warm on chilly mornings. It worked very effectively down to high 30’s as it stops wind and retains warmth very well. I would guess that it would be extremely warm as a layer under a windbreaker

Well made warm vest with a good amount of pockets. The down side is that it runs on the large side so order accordingly. Wear it with the L.L. Bean warm up jacket and you’ll be good to go on most winter days.
