Wonderful basic down vest with simple, classic styling. Lightweight but wonderfully warm. Good pockets. Have worn it almost daily since I got it for Christmas, and I hope it will hold up for some time to come.

Significantly less heavy in weight than I had expected (a good surprise). Classic shaping — not to overtly feminine. Carefully crafted, with handy inside pocket and hand warmers on the side, zippered and buttoned opening. Handsome shade of navy.

Technically not a review for this vest ( though I have at least one). I was looking for a goose down vest, women’s, but black, like the brown one I am wearing. This down tek stuff just isn’t as warm. That said, my goose down vest must be at least 8 years old because my order history here only goes back that far. The vest, has a full zipper, an inside zippered pocket & 2 hand warmer zippered pockets. I can find nothing comparable to it here now. I am now at a loss to find another, thus old one is in excellent condition, no problem with the heavy duty plastic (?) zippers or anything else. Made in Bangladesh . Sometimes the old classic stuff is better than the new high tech goods. The original is regular large & the tag indicates 80% goose down.
