My husband bought me this coat as an early Christmas present. I've been wanting a longer coat to keep me warmer in the winter. The added hood was perfect! The fit is excellent – I bought a medium and that is my usual size. This coat is lightweight and seems pretty warm. I'm not a cold weather lover so this should be perfect for me. I can't wait to start wearing it!

My original order was for a very similar coat that had no hood. I soon found that in cold wet weather I needed the hood and have replaced the original coat with this one. This coat is perfect in every way. I wear a 12-14 petite and it fits like it was made for me, with room for layering if needed. It's light and warm and protects from all kinds of weather. The mariner blue is beautiful. I can see this coat being a mainstay of my winter outdoor wardrobe for many years.

This coat has been all I expected it to be. I first purchased it without the hood and soon realized that was a mistake, so I returned it and got this version. It has been extremely cold and windy in the east for a couple of weeks, but I have never been cold with this coat and layers under it. In normal Mid-Atlantic winters, the most I would need is a sweater under this coat, but I’ve added long John’s and my LLB down vest so dog walks are still a joy.
I’m 5’3″ and wear a size 14, so the large petite is a perfect fit.

Whether watching a soccer tournament on a wet chilly day, or walking Dottie the Lab in the single digit temperatures we’ve been having in Virginia, this coat has kept me warm and dry. In the cold windy weather, I have added several layers underneath which expanded the comfort range. It’s so light and squooshes down into a small ball to fit in a small locker at the gym.
I’m 5’3 and wear a size 14. The petite large is the perfect size for me with room for previous mentioned layering.

I disagree with the reviewers who say that this coat is not warm enough for zero degrees at a standstill. You have to wear layers underneath -this is the assumption that is made by the manufacturer. I think there are plenty of people out there in tee shirts and this coat who are critical of the warmth ratings because they expect that this coat should be warm enough for the arctic..I also feel that a bit of feather peaking out happens to all down coats..If you're going to go tearing through the bushes don't expect to make it to the board meeting without feathers poking out.Better buy two:(one for work) and (one for whatever else you do outside).
I'd like to see some new colors-love my blue one though.

I LOVE this coat.Even if I wanted to I could not induce myself at this point to wear a wool coat because this is so much warmer and does not itch. The new green replaces my old mariner blue which I just wore all the time everywhere and the time had come for a new color. This is a great neutral green you can wear with scarfes of different colors. Its has very little yellow undertone, which is great.Large fit well for me at 5'4" and 158 lbs about..You will love it too…

This was the winter coat I didn't know I needed! I confess I only purchased it because it was a daily special, but am so glad I did. It's ridiculously light but warm. I wore it doing errands on a cold day, in and out of the car, and it was perfect, warm but not bulky. Then I wore it on a long hike, still perfect. Love the green color.

i ordered a pxs after finding the regular xsmalls in most brands are too big. It fit good except the cut is wide and baggy so it was very comfortable but I thought it looked too big. Good to wear a bulky sweater or vest under though and you would be really toasty.

I want to like this coat because it has a classic style. But it does not live up to itās claims of keeping you warm in 20 degree windy weather.

Super light weight yet keeps you warm and stylish. I have always wanted a long coat and I should have gotten one sooner. Better late then never.
Purchaser –
gave as a gift…coat is good except for the hood doesn’t fit like it should.
Carolyn –
For the price, it was very thin in weight expected it to be more substantial.
Petro –
It’s a very comfortable coat because it doesn’t weigh you down but provides a lot of warmth. I can drive comfortably wearing this coat. It also looks great.
Treetops 1 –
Beautifully constructed. Dark Plum is a very pretty color. Coat slides on very easily. Love the two zippers. Glad to have a hood I can adjust. Am very happy with it. Am between a medium and large, but glad I chose the roominess of the large so I can layer whatever I want under it. Well worth the price.

I love this coat! It’s nice and warm and light weight. Very comfortable.
Nadine –
I got this for my mom . She likes that it feels light but keeps her warm without feeling restricted by bulk.
Janine –
Haven’t used it yet since summer now but it is the same as my short version and love the warmth and being so lightweight and packable.
Mike –
Purchased this for my wife and she loves it! She said it fits as expected and likes the quality of the jacket.
Capecodlife –
Had a bad fall in the early spring that left a large tear in jacket. Excited dogs pulled me down. Broke my shoulder in the fall. OUCH
I wanted to repair, my sister threw it away at the ER.
So with this weekends 15% off my new jacket is on its way!! Bring on the snow!
Beth –
I loved this coat and wanted to keep it; it is very warm and cozy. Unfortunately, the outer fabric is extremely delicate and ripped very easily, resulting in a loss of insulation. The durability of this coat needs to be improved.
Suezy –
I was so amazed at how light weight this coat is and how slim fitting it looks on, while still providing that protection from the elements. Too, it feels great. I can move it in without feeling restricted by the down. I am thrilled I chose this length. It’s the nicest gift I’ve given myself in a very long time. A down coat isn’t something you buy every day – this coat will probably outlast me. Also…I love the machine wash and dry capability!!
