I bought this last year and sent it back mostly because of the hood. Now I see there is a vest with the collar I would like on the jacket. The hood on the jacket is too bulky and I see it as a little dressier jacket than most of these quilted ones. I would rebuy this in a heart beat if it looked like the vest with sleeves. I’ve even thought about having a tailor redo the neckline on the jacket. LLBean surprise me and make the jacket without the hood.

I liked the look of the asymmetrical zipper but when I received and tried on the coat is was very puffy and boxy. Not very flattering for my shape.

This coat style wise is on point, it looks and feels great on me. However, the neckline is just too low for me and any time there’s wind, which in CO there’s lots, I just regret grabbing this coat from my closet instead of another one. A scarf would solve this issue for many, but I wanted a nice easy coat, not one that I had to use other articles of clothing to solve issues it had. Also, it’s just not warm enough. I’m so disappointed in this coat. Better neckline and increased warmth factor and it would have been a 10/10.

After trying on so many jackets that cut uncomfortably across my hips, I was so happy to find this shorter jacket. If you are a petite person, or just have a short torso, I think you will appreciate the length. It’s also waterproof in moderate rain and warm enough for mild winters.

I love this jacket! It’s extremely cute and very comfortable. It’s a more fashionable alternative to a regular down jacket. I love the fleece pockets–very cozy. The hood doesn’t fit particularly tightly, which is cute but could potentially let wind in when it’s really cold. Overall I love this jacket, the green color is lovely.

I was so hoping this jacket would have the neckline of the vest this year, meaning no bulky hood. I love the blue and the zipper gives it a little dressier look. Add that to a little longer length and it would be perfect!! Listen to us llBean.
