Jennifer –
I had a 35-year-old anorak I bought at L.L. Bean years ago and the styles had changed so much, it was too boxy but I loved it and got so much wear out of it over the years
This one was more streamlined, longer and narrower fitting with tapering at the waist
I bought the extra small and I am 5 foot four, 100 pounds. There is plenty space enough to layer clothes underneath it But it also looks streamlined with only a T-shirt underneath. I also like the updated fabric, it is softer than the older anoraks
I love the look of it and I absolutely love the color!
Linda –
Great colors, perfect fit. Just the right weight for cool days.
Lateshia V –
Great fit (runs true to size) and the colors are just as vibrant in person. Super light weight but heavy enough for protection. I would definitely purchase this item again!
Chris –
Beautifully made, comfortable & utilitarian AND the longer length is great! ( I’m a pudgey 5’4″) Really breaks the wind & keeps you warm with just a base layer. LOVE the pockets! Like it so much that I’ve ordered another color with the zipper front.
Kelly –
I accidentally ordered the large, but wanted an extra large. I’ve been loosing weight, and the large fit fine. This is all my own personal journey, being excited to fit into smaller clothes.
Janet Z –
The Anorak is well made. It is best used with layers. I like the material and how it feels. Cuts off the wind well. I am 5’7″, 250#, live in Wisconsin. I purchased size 3X plus. I wanted something that would shield me from cold and rain.
Vickie –
It’s fit is great, only the sleeves are short for petite sizes. Love the colors
Vivian K –
I wore it while it was raining (light but steady spring rain) and it kept me dry and comfortable. Front pockets are very handy and there are zippered pockets and a larger non-zippered pocket. It is easy to put on and remove. Overall a great buy!

Love this rain jacket, perfect for Missouri spring. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it as well, everyone loves it! Fits true to size.
Jennifer B –
I love this jacket! The fit is perfect. The weight is light, but keeps the chilly air out.
Abigail –
very pleased with the quality and fit. sized up because i wanted it to be oversized and it is perfect.
DeAnna –
I love this jacket ! It is a perfect fit. I got the regular medium. I am 5.3 and 150 lbs. Bought it to take to the beach and it was just enough with a large zip pocket in front for shells or the dogs ball.
Ga G –
Nice, packable, good-looking. I have it folded in my “teacher bag” for unexpected showers and chilly classrooms. So far, so good.

I bought this anorak – looks like the pictures – mine is orange/peach/green – for a trip to Scotland – it was perfect for the 50-60s degree weather and layering with additional LL Bean outerwear. There is the hood for inclement weather AND it folded up in its own pocket so I coul stow it in my travel bag. Please remember water/weather resistant does not mean water proof !!! Although it is not needed, I made a personal choice to waterproof the jacket – the colors remained sharp and brilliant. After wearing it for ten days of hiking and walking, it washed up beautifully! This anorak is well worth its value! ( Tried to add the photo???) It was a great choice for my purposes and I will wear it if fall arrives!

I have not worn this but one time on a cool September day, maybe in the 60s. I had a long sleeve tee under it and was perfectly comfortable. I went up a size in order to accommodate a sweater under it and I think I will be glad when it is needed, for there is some extra room. It’s a very attractive topper for when the weather turns cool. Not sure yet how it will take on any rain. It seemed a bit pricey, but what isn’t, these days? I like what I got for the money.

I bought this jacket and also a men’s one for my husband for an upcoming trip to Norway. They both fit great and I love the colors of both (his is a solid royal blue). I think they will be perfect for layering on chilly, rainy days on our trip and also when we get home.

This was exactly what my daughter hoped for. She is going to university in the UK and this was the perfect item. It travels small and doesn’t take up much room. It is also very durable and comfortable. It is also very stylish and warm. It will be the perfect jacket for her hikes at Snowdonia
Alpineabbie –
Wind and water resistant anorak. Tested on a very windy and rainy day in the Alaska mountains. Size down as it runs big.
JShrum –
Lightweight but protective, easy on and off, compliments every time I wear it, and does its job well.

Beautiful jacket I can’t wait for cold weather to arrive!! This jacket is so cool it reminds me of the 90’s and being a kid. Love the front pocket, the colors and thickness it is thin like a raincoat.
Kathryn –
The fit is what I expected and the color combination is very appealing. Nicely made. Not a heavy jacket, but will do nicely for a windbreaker.

I am an L.L.Bean Student Ambassador and fell in love with this product. You can tell that it’s high quality and meant to last (even when I was hiking Mt. Nittany up at Penn State through the snow and slush). It is really comfortable, and the size didn’t run too big or too small. I also really like the neutral colors (I went with Natural/Mineral Blue), I could wear it with any of my outfits.

Great jacket. I’ve owned it for over a year now. It is such great quality and so good looking. The sleeves are actually long enough for once, and that’s saying something since I have long arms. My normal size Medium (I am 5’8″, 144lbs) fits easily over a sweater or hoodie yet it still looks flattering and not bulky. The hood is a great addition on those breezy days when you didn’t bring a hat, but you want your head covered for a short while. I may buy another just to have a spare since I love it so much.
Meme –
It fits my needs perfectly I was just looking for a windbreaker and this is a very good windbreaker for me because it has a hood

This jacket is so soft that I doubted it would be waterproof, but it totally kept me dry! Highly recommend!
