It seems to be the right weight and coverage for layering in cooler weather. It stylish and looks very functional. It was a gift for a friend going to alaska I hope she got lots of good use out of it.

I’m normally a large in shirts/sweatshirts and I purchased a large in this as the medium fit well but the large allowed for extra layers when wearing in colder weather without being too oversized

My first LLbean Mountain Anorak was kid size! I love these pullover jackets and I have been wearing them for years! I am happy that there was style that was not a color-block! Sorry, I do not like the color-block style! I love these for the large front pocket! The pocket keeps my passport and money safe when I am traveling and when I am hiking it keeps my camera and snacks handy.

I wanted a lightweight, water repellent, hooded jacket, that covered my butt, and had pockets, this covers it all! I’m 5’3 137lbs and ordered a L. Fits a little baggy, which I prefer. Nice color. What I do NOT like is advertising for LLBEAN (or almost anyone) with their emblem on the chest! I put a way cool fish pin over it. All is good on the coast of Maine!

This is my first anorak. I love the retro vibe, but more than that I love the serious water resistance without feeling like I’m suffocating. The jacket breathes while also providing reasonable protection from the rain. Also, pockets.
