Haveaheart –
Nice, trim, lightweight vest. Bought it as a warm layer under a shell – serves the purpose very well, and looks nice by itself too. Good length. As other reviewers have said, a two-way zipper would be an improvement, which is why I rate it 4 stars, not 5. The cut is fairly straight which works well for me – if you are on the curvy side, or plan to wear a bulky sweater underneath, I'd recommend buying one size up.

light weight but warm down jacket. Like that it comes below the waist. Would recommend wearing a warmer sweater under the vest when the temperature is below 40 degrees. Easy to pack and doesn’t take up much room. I ordered a petite small and it fits perfectly. I’m 5′ 2′ and 113 pounds.

Didn’t like the shape/fit (even Hubby who doesn’t really care or notice these things commented it looked strange and unflattering). Longish. Blob-ish. Green color was nice and I like the zippered pockets. Didn’t feel like it’d be all that warm. Even though I knew it’d have the logo on the chest, I really didn’t like that. Returned.

If you want warmth without the bulk…look no further.

I’ve had this vest for about a month now. The first week I wore it the zipper came apart at the bottom. We managed to get it zipped back down and apart. Today it again popped apart at the bottom. I bought a size large as I wanted the vest to be a bit loose. This is an expensive vest and seems to have a very cheap zipper so I’m extremely disappointed and unhappy with this vest. The vest is very comfortable and warm while not bulky which makes the poor quality of zipper even more disappointing.

Unflattering green. Too long for a petite size. Boxy

Classic. This vest will be with me for many years.

I have several windproof and water resistant LL Bean vests, but none are as well fitting, warm and light as this one. It will pack well and will fluff as soon as it is unpacked, (it did when I took it out of packaging). Incredibly warm. Will probably need a new one in the Spring as I plan to wear it all winter in Virginia under my LL Bean Anorak.

Runs LARGE. First bought a medium, needed to exchange for a small and it’s still roomy. I love the camp green, nice lightweight and warm!

Need to size down. Otherwise great item: love the pockets, easy to pack in my backpack, good insulation.
