I received one in black as a gift and loved it! So i bought one in red, and more recently the navy blue with orange. Nice fit, and not bulky so i can wear a jacket over if needed.

The styling on this vest is awesome but unfortunately it wasn’t warm enough for our cold Midwest winters.

Well-made. Good-looking. Light, so not super warm but who wears a vest when it’s really cold. Also, thin enough to use as a bae layer. Had a “Napoleon” chest pocket, which is becoming an edangered species. Fit on the large side but perfect for me.

I feel as though it is too soon to evaluate this item. Why? A. I ordered it in late Feb or March hoping to get it for spring warm weather. It was out of stock until June. B. It is incredibly light and hard to imagine it will be as warm as I expected. We’ll see next winter. In the meantime, it is a nice fit and nice looking.

Definitely form over function. Looks good (4 stars) but provides very little warmth (one star). Medium fit was good for 5′ 11″ man. Quite expensive for what you get. Probably would not recommend at anywhere near this price.

I lost my previous L L Beans packaway vest, alas. This one looks better, but feels thinner. I’m hoping its as warm as its predecessor, but haven’t been able to test it out yet in really chilly weather.
