Really LOVE this jacket (got the teal) and will be keeping it. It does run a little big however, even with an extra long-sleeve layer underneath. I could've gotten a petite small or regular XS and I think the fit would be a little better.

Love this lightweight down jacket, but it is HUGE! Typically wear small (I’m 5’4″), but often order medium in jackets due to long arms for my height and desire for a little extra length, and roominess in shoulder area. Based on reviews I ordered it in small but was swimming in it. I’m exchanging for XS, which I hope will be about right. Thanks, Zappos, for making exchanges easy!

This is super warm and a very soft, smooth material. I have never owned a down jacket I didn’t get cold with just a tshirt! It’s also not too puffy feeling!

Fit was excellent. I typically order a large to accommodate my chest and the rest of the garment is big. But in this case, with the exception of slightly long sleeves, it fit everywhere pretty well. Great color.

Really digging the Ultralight 850 Down Jacket. Lightweight and warm, zippers seem strong, pockets are nice and deep. The fit is different from the down sweater, roomier without being bulky, so if you’re looking to layer, this is the better down jacket for you.

Bought this to replace a down sweater, but not the same. It was more than I needed. While I liked the color of the jacket, I did not like the bright white lettering of “LL Bean” on the front chest AND in the back. Unnecessary. Returned.

Originally ordered Regular Large which is a size I have ordered other jackets. It was to snug with just a shirt. A regular extra large would be too big. I noticed on the size chart the main difference between the Regular large and Petite extra large was more room in the chest. The petite extra large is perfect.
I have a 3 in 1 LLBEAN rain jacket with a light lining. My plan is to remove the linning and wear 850 down with the rain jacket on colder rainy days. The 850 down fits perfectly with the rain jacket without a bulky look.

This jacket is ightweight yet warm. I also own this 850 series in a full-length version. The fit is very good but a bit snug in the hips. My full-length 850 (of the same size) has a better fit.

The fit is on point, the various closures are ideal and and the color (purple) is spectacular. I am 5’2″, 125 lbs and I bought a medium. Fits well with room for a sweater beneath. I highly recommend this jacket.

Just what I was looking for! I am not really a fan of form fitting jackets and wanted something looser. I am 5’7″, 148 pounds, narrower shoulders and 34DDD chest. I often have problems with jackets that fit but are too tight across the chest when zipped up. It’s super frustrating. Not so with this jacket. Looking forward to wearing it this winter!

I ordered this jacket twice, it came to me as a petite small every time. The ASIN number must be wrong.
