With so much sizing/fit variability among so many models, it was a “must” for me to order these shorts (alloy gray) as I LOVE the explorer ripstop pants. These are perfect, as if I cut the pants into shorts and had ’em hemmed. Great length, slightly slim fit but with good stretch for full range of active motion. Perhaps an inch too much rise, but certainly not a deal breaker.

I have a little more than a dozen shorts but I purchased two of these shorts because of the zipper pockets. Several items such as my wallet and keys tend to fall out of my pockets when driving.
These are now by far, my favorite shorts. They safely secure anything in my pockets. They are comfortable, not bulky, and the material they are made of is extremely flexible. My wife knows I’m very particular about what I wear and items that I like are always discontinued. She convinced me to buy a few more and put them away for the future.
