I bought these for my 7 year old boy, now 8, a year ago. He is very hard on shoes but these held up great. I have to buy him a new pair because his feet are getting bigger. With other shoes he would ruin the toe with in a few months time, not these. Thanks LLBean for making them of such good quality.

Great hiker. True to size. I am not sure if it is a Wider toe box, but fits my boy well. He prefers the keens as they are wider for him and his feet don’t rub on the edges. We plan to do lots of hikes with these! I would recommend these to a friend. Laces don’t always stay tied, but seems like that happens often on lots of different shoes! We just double knot them! Also love the colors!

Wow. Just wow. My 11 year old daughter wore these on a long hike the day after getting them in the mail, and loved them. I was nervous they would have to be broken in, and she is usually very picky about how her shoes fit, but she powered through her hike without any problems! She has thin feet and usually wears between 3.5-4 size shoes, the size 4 here was perfect.

My son picked these out for our hike in the Whites. He can be a tough fit with his high arch and narrow foot but these trail runners fit him perfectly. We had a rainy 3 day hike and his feet did not get wet until he submerged them in a deep puddle. Would purchase again and highly recommend.
