Great soft fabric and nice looking sweatshirt but did not care for the kangaroo pocket. It gapes open awkwardly and looks silly. Two hand pocket would have been better and stayed closer to the body or better yet, lose the pockets altogether and make this a more versatile piece for casual or business casual wear.

Men’s XLG-Tall…We’ve purchased four of these shirts in different colors…does that tell you anything? They are soft, well-made, fit perfectly and are true to the color shown in the catalog or on-line. They launder beautifully! Nice shirt for a cold day or cool evening outside! Looks great with jeans or casual slacks, too!

A well made sweatshirt which does not look like a “sweatshirt.” It is heavy enough to replace a light sweater on those not too cold days. The quilting makes it more formal. Overall it is a great garment, indeed, I now have two, one in blue and one in green.

This was my second LL Bean quilted sweatshirt purchase. I really like them. Warm and much more fashionable than a regular sweatshirt. I also like the fact they come in my size – medium tall. So many places only sell tall in larger and larger.

If this is anything like the women’s, pass. I bought 2 different styles of Beans quilted sweatshirts. They both faded after a few washings and the cuffs shrunk up and were tight. They both fit very boxy and where I normally like a looser fit, they just didn’t lay right. I donated after 6 months as just were not comfortable to wear.

Pros:
Very comfortable. Relaxed and not grabby at the arm pits.
Excellent as a mid-weight layer (probably too light for a serious winter climate).
Nice length that extends below the belt line.
Cons:
Snaps are awkward. Maybe better as a zip?
Elbows tend to wear quickly. Maybe add patches?
Subject to shrinking. I bought XL. But after washing it once, fit more like a L (which suited me better).
