Personally – my favorite LL Bean “sneaker” offering. I’m normally a 12 and I went down a half size in the sneakers
Wish I could find the green ones in an 11.5.
Old M –
They would benefit from more arch support. Cushioning is excellent.
Tomas –
Perfect fit, great year-round colors, good look for basically everywhere.

Selected these for the rough terrain often encountered playing on disk golf links. One of the first pieces of equipment new players discover they must buy to participate in disk golf is a light-weight waterproof athletic shoe. There is often grass and brush that is wet with morning dew and/or recent rain, plus little creeks to hop over as you walk the various links as you play. KEEN is very popular with the younger folks. But I wanted to try these LL Bean shoes and they work just fine for me. LL Bean should expand their presence more in that sport. It’s an opportunity market.

Quality materials, seems like they’re built to last. Nice retro look. Best part about them is how the soles roll evenly from heel to toe with each step. Almost like a glide
Scott –
I really wanted to like these, however, the sole camber is tilted excessively toward the outer edge and affected my ability to walk normally.

Great shoe for hiking and for everyday wear. Good-looking and comfortable.
Greg M –
Great, comfortable shoes! I especially like the water-resistant feature for those “water-the-plants” trips through the early morning dewy grass. The shoes also are quite durable on the paved trails friends and I walk too..
Bean S –
Happy with purchase; good quality sneaker. Would buy again.
Mike B –
Good quality. Not super heavy duty but very comfortable.
Oldshep67 –
Definitely waterproof but lacking side support and stability. My foot moves all over when I try to walk with these on. Guess I’ll just use these for wet wading.
RichardsReviews –
Ordered my normal size 12 which was too long. Size 11.5 fits me like a 12 which is very rare. Hopefully they are waterproof as advertised.
LONG I –
Excellent quality, well made, however have not wornSam the mountain man them on yet, saving them for my October hike deep in the Adirondacks.
RichardsReviews –
Shoe is comfortable for casual wear and moderate distance walks.
What I will say is my normal shoe size is 12 Medium. It is rare when size 12 is too long. Every LLBean shoe and boot that I own is 11 1/2 Medium. For me, LL Bean brand size 12 is one half size too long and a little too wide.

I alwyas hesitate to write a review soon after product arrival as it does not give ample time to see how product wears. However, I can say that these shoes are extremely confortable with ample room in the toe box. I have worn them once for yard work in wet grass and they are indeed waterproof. They are also remarkably light weight and I do hope they hold up over time. The size is spot on too. So far…impressive,

This shoe is both waterproof and insulated, features I have looked for since finally wearing out a similar pair after five years. Looks like a great buy for winter.

Love these shoes! Super supportive and comfortable and they look great. I haven’t tried them out on a challenging / wet hike yet though.
Cincy M –
No ankle support. Soft materials not good for hiking. I returned them.

Well made and very comfortable shoes. I have the blue version and they are stylish. Fit well.
