Carolyn W –
These are water resistant but useless in a heavy downpour with lots of exposure. I would go for something in waterproof material, like gortex.
Canandaigua L –
I purchased these to wear over my flannel lined Bean jeans for those cold, snowy, windy days when dog walking and they worked great. Even on warmer, windy, rainy days I’ll use them over regular jeans when walking my dog 4 times a day.

I have not used this yet, so i cannot give it 5 stars but it looks exactly like what I need to raft the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon. I appreciate the bigger sizes. Just because I’m not as thin or young as I used to be doesn’t mean I’m too old for adventure.

Lightweight and comfortable rain gear that keeps you dry

Petite M, 5’2″, 120 lbs. Great fit, easy on easy off over a base layer. Bought these for an upcoming trip to Iceland. I’d give these five stars if there was a pocket in the front or side vs. one in the back.
Julie O –
I bought these rain pants to go with the matching jacket. They fit true to size. They are light weight and comfortable to wear. You can read my review of the matching jacket. Light weight! Comfortable!
MountainShopper –
I don’t need rain pants often and had been borrowing my son’s L.L.Bean pants when I did need them, but they were too long so finally got myself a pair in Petite so now they fit perfect! Same quality as his just a better fit but still easy to pull on over pants without being tight.
Stephanie E –
Love these waterproof pants. They pack into their own pocket with a carry strap, unzip at the lower leg, & have a drawstring in the waist. Perfect for hiking, camping, & even washing the dogs! Easy to pull on over regular clothes when caught in a rain event. I only wish they offered additional colors.

These pants are amazing! Wore them on a glacier in Alaska when it was raining. Not a drop of water came though.
LoverOfCotton –
I purchased these to wear snowshoeing. I wore them over a pair of Perfect Fit fleece lined jeans over Duofold long underwear. They kept me dry, not overly warm, and comfortable; temperature was 20 degrees. I attribute a lot of that to being nylon which is a great outdoor material.
Susan S –
Ever since I bought these for cycling in the rain it has not rained..haha. But they fit well, pack up into a small bag and are easy to put on over my shoes. They look very well made out of nice water proof fabric. I am 5’8′ and 175 lbs and I ordered the large.
Amadancer1 –
Lightweight and great for wearing over pants. I’m 5’1″ and hippy and excited to find pants that fit without being way too long. They are perfect for my trip to Canada.
LeeAnn –
Nicely made. Comfortable. Perfect for rainy, outdoor events. Regular was too long for me. Petite was perfect.
Scrap –
These are great except for the fact that there are no pockets. I would have given a 5 star review if they at least had slits so you could access pockets in whatever you’re wearing under the rain pants.
EMMA –
Loved the pants. They kept me dry in Scotland. Looked good with my tops. Were not too warm.
Cami S –
These are comfortable and work great. I took them to Iceland for all the waterfalls.

These will work well while traipsing around a rainy theme park. Long zippers on each leg should make it easier to put on, without taking shoes off. The one negative is that a Velcro closure is not present to secure around the ankles.
