I have wore these once, and the temperature wasn’t warmer than 65. I’m not sure if I will be able to wear these at temperatures above 90, they are not thin. Other than that, they fit well and are comfortable. I like the side pocket for my phone. And I don’t mind the logo at all.

I love these insect shield leggings! I really believe they have greatly reduced the number of mosquito, tick, and chigger bites for me so far this season!!! This is a very hot summer here in KY. The long pants and long sleeve shirt are hot for the summer, but I would rather be hot than eaten up by mosquito, chigger and tick bites!!! (They all absolutely poison me!) Also, I love the LLBean logo on the side of the pants, but I guess it would be nice to have the option of wanting the logo or the choice of no logo! Thanks LLB for a GREAT product!

Comfortable , great fit, made by insect shield. Don’t need LL Bean in such big letters but it’s fine- I’m not wearing these to the Opera.

The fit is very comfortable. The huge LLBean logo makes it obnoxious to wear in pubic. I purchased these pants for camping pajamas, they are perfect for this use. I wish LLBean would make these without the massive logo on the leg, I would definitely purchase them if they did.

We live in Northern MN where the mosquitoes and other small biting creatures thrive. I have both the protection short and leggings and netting which allows me to be in the forest anytime trimming grass or tree limbs. No bites anywhere!!!

I wear these daily for my early morning two-mile hikes through New England forests with my Labrador retriever. The trails pass several ponds and streams along the way, and mosquitoes are dense. Yet, wearing these leggings and my mosquito head-net (also purchased from LLBean), I am unbitten. Try them both, and enjoy your wood walks!

Since I don’t get out of work until late afternoon, the dogs and I are on our woodland trails at the same time as the mosquitoes–and the ticks are always there. I react strongly to insect bites, and no OTC itch-relief cream works well. Enter these leggings. Instead of the 2-4 ticks nightly, I’ve had 0! Occasionally, I’ll have one mosquito bite, but that’s nothing like the bug banquet I would otherwise become, driving me home prematurely. I’ve worn them almost every day for a few weeks, even inside since the dogs are tick-taxis, and the leggings are so comfortable–lightweight and silky. Once the temperature gets to 84 F., they are too warm and we’re inside, anyway. I use the “hand wash” setting on the washer and hang dry. They are easily dry by morning. I pair them with the Insect Shield Pro Hoodie and baseball cap. The thigh pocket is great for my phone. I would get rid of the rear waistband pocket: it’s long, hard to reach, and opens easily. These could be a crossover item since the dark grey heather fabric is attractive, LLB must think of this as only performance wear. I would lose the huge logo and save a few bucks on the garment’s production, and pass the savings on to the customers–these pants are expensive, yet comfort in the out-of-doors is worth it!

These are fine. I didn’t give them five stars because I wish the pocket had a zipper. I have had things fall out when I’ve been walking. I would suggest that you make them in white. Even if they are supposed to kill ticks on contact, it would be nice to easily see a tick if that doesn’t happen.

They worked well on my trip to Costa Rica. Just wish they had an option that didn’t have LL Bean emblazoned across the left leg.

Love these leggings! They fit well and so far have kept the bugs off me. I’ve worn them twice outside where I know I’ve been bitten before, and not one bite! I only sprayed my ankles with bug spray. I’m a size 16 and I purchased XL.

I am going to buy another pair because I wear the pair I bought almost every day. I’m outside in the woods and fields every day, and never get ticks when I wear these tights. I like the logo, too. Thanks!
