My both Peke's can fit on this bed! They Both love it and love putting their heads on the bolsters! IF I could give this a 1000 star rating I would! I know Maddi is ageing rapidly as she's now 15 1/2 yr. old. Now that I've had this she doesn't seem as lame after sleeping in it. They both sleep on it together and enjoy the beauty of a therapeutic bed. Madsy is 10 1/2 and he just boogies right out of it when he awakens. This is the perfect the both of them! I am amazed how much room there is on this! I had no issues w/the size! They The height off the ground is easy for their little legs to step right up on it and get cozy and go to sleep…
I had no issues assembling it either. The cover washes well! I used a yard stick to assist me w/pushing in the foam into it. I did use Scotch Guard on it to keep it cleaner……..so I only need to wash it when it's REAL dirty. They Both ENJOY nap time now!

These beds are great! They are roomy, have lots of cushion, and our dog loves the bolster around the edges. We bought this bed in an Extra large and it was huge! My dog, a lab mix, about 60 pounds, loves it so we kept it anyway. It was too big for our bedroom, where our dog sleeps at night, so we bought a size large for the bedroom. We kept the extra-large for the den. Our den is not roomy so we trip over the giant dog bed sometimes, but the bed is big enough for me and the dog to get in it together and have snuggle time. Two medium-large dogs could easily fit in it if they get along well.

The medium is a perfect fit for her. The bolsters are well-made, the fabric is very sturdy- no tears or seams coming apart like cheaper dog beds, and the bottom pad is very thick, soft, and comfortable for my arthritic dog.

2nd therapeutic dog bed purchased in 15 yrs. Gave the first one to WAIF when our dog passed. Should have known better. This new one one is much easier to put together and washing the cover will not be such a hassle. Dog loves it and I will not dread having to wash cover!!! Good redo…

We got our people couch reupholstered so we needed Penny to have her own couch. She is a 60lb pit bull terrier so we debated between medium and large. The large allows her to really spread out though it does take up a lot of floor space. We liked the denim cover because she paws her other beds. I haven’t seen that so much with this foam bed. I haven’t washed this yet so that will be an adventure.

Our soon-to-be 10 year-old black Lab mix, Tobias, loves his new bed! We adopted Tobias during the first Covid outbreak, and he loves a round LL Bean bed. As he gets older, we wanted more support for him. We have a larger version of this bed for our other black Lab, Bueller. In all, we have 5 LL Bean beds for our dogs-3 round beds, one rectangle bed, and 2 theraputic couches. We keep them in the rooms where we spend time, because the dogs like to be in the rooms with us.

The small dog bed is the easiest to assemble because of its size. Washes up like new and reassembles much more easily after being used and washed. The large one is very stiff and difficult to assemble/ I swore I would never take it apart to wash as it shrank at all it would never go back together. It was years before I finally washed it . To my amazement it came up like new and went together easily. Never looses it’s shape and mine lasted 30 years before being replaced Also of importance, the dogs all love them.

After numerous disaster-beds for my 14 lb Cava-Poo-Chon, I remembered the beautiful, sturdy LLBean beds my 2 Golden Retrievers used to enjoy and I ordered the Therapeutic Dog Couch for my Little Man, who is an incessant digger and obsessively needs to arrange and re-arrange his sleeping accommodations, just to his liking!
This dog bed can handle the scratching and digging and once my curly boy is satisfied with the way his bed looks and feels, he will plop down in it and be fast asleep before we know it!
I hope that some of the reviews won’t deter dog owners from ordering this therapeutic couch, because putting it together really is not at all problematic. If I, at over 80 yrs of age can do it, anyone else can also! The bed comes with clear instructions, just take your time and you will get those bolsters just perfectly in place.
Love the fact that the bolsters are encased in a sturdy, nylon fabric, which can easily be spot-cleaned. Today our protective liner will arrive but to be on the safe side, I inserted a large wee-pad over the orthopedic foam of the bottom, just in case. From past experience I know these beds wash beautifully and their zippers also are extra sturdy and nicely hidden in a special “pocket”
Love the convoluted foam of the bottom, which supports gently and does not feel like my little guy is sleeping on a rock.
I am very pleased with this Therapeutic Dog Couch and so is my dog, he loves it and we heartily recommend it to all dog owners shopping for a beautifully constructed dog bed for their fur-children which will give comfort and good rests for many years to come!

This is a quality bed! The assembly was very easy, Bean must have made some changes with the design because previous reviews made me think it would be quite difficult, but it certainly was a breeze. The mattress is a firm foam and substantial. The bolsters are nice plump cushions and the cover is a sturdy weave with zippers galore! My pup is a solid 55 pounds and the medium is perfect for her and my cat! Thank you LL Bean! It’s a sharp looking pup couch!

This bed literally has lasted us 20 years for a golden and yellow lab. It is super comfortable, has never lost the cushion on the edges, easy enough to wash, the dogs loved it. Worth every penny.

We love the bed but I really believe for the price that it should be delivered COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED!!!! I am 70 yrs old and it is extremely difficult to assemble something like this bed.

Love these therapeutic beds. Bought one years ago for a 10 year old Husky Akita mix who was with us until she was 17. New one is for a young Shepherd. Bed and cover are comfortable and sturdy. Bed, and hopefully dog, will be with us for a long time.

Just received the small therapeutic dog couch. I have small hands but found it impossible to properly assemble the bolsters. At this price I think the assembly of the bolsters should be included. Dont cheapen your great products.
