I’d never owned anything made from Chambray before. The look is distinctive, and the feel is light but still sturdier than typical cotton. Some super nice detailing on this model, like a rear collar button. Hadn’t seen that since the 1960s or 70s Really a nice surprise and a well-made shirt.

The color of the actual shirt is a MUCH DARKER blue than the one shown online!
They were ordered because of the LIGHT blue color (the wearer’s color preference) and returned because they were clearly a different darker shade than the one shown online.

I really like this shirt. The weight is good– it has quite a hefty feel. Sleeves in tall are actually long enough for my 37″ arms. Fit is roomy without being too full. I’d buy again.

The best way to describe the shirt is the workmanship and detailing:
Quality buttons, fabric, color, and best of all easy to iron. After several washing’s it still has a beautiful blue color and gets softer by the day.

The material of this shirt is hard and rough. I expect chambray shirts to be soft and comfortable pretty much from the start. But even after washing the shirt twice it is stiff.

I really miss your pale blue chambray shirts with the bone buttons. You haven’t had them in 10 years and mine are getting thread bare. You are doing the chambray shirts in four colors. Can’t you add the pale blue you had for years and years?

shirt was much larger than a “large” around stomach and waist. Unfortunate LL Bean dose not offer “slim fit” – I was swimming in this shirt.

The untucked fit is proving not to work well for me. At 5’11” I find shirts in this cut to be too short. Additionally, this particular shirt is too voluminous in the body resulting in an unfortunate “shirt-tent (shent)” look. I wish this came in the slightly fitted cut and better yet a normal length. Washed and dried hoping to tighten things up but that just made things worse. Unfortunately it’s going back.

Sorry but every LL bean flannel shirt runs way too big in size small. I’ve tried on at least 4 different ones and it’s always the small issue. The sleeves and shirt itself are over sized even on slim fit ones.

This shirt fit very true to size and is a great fabric for warmer weather. It is light weight, breathable, and comfortable for all day wear in any climate.
