I got this in sage green to wear on safari. I have an allergic reaction to bug bites and am a bit anxious about going to Africa, so we’ll see how well this works! I purchased a L and it fits well. I’m 5 ft., 145 lbs, 39 bust, 34 waist, 40 hip.

I am happy with this shirt. I bought my usual size and it’s more fitted than their cotton tee shirts. It’s comfortable to garden in and long enough to not come out of my jeans when I bend over. My only con is the tightly knitted fabric is a little stiff and has little stretch to it. Also I would have like to have ribbing at the wrist to keep out the critters.

Heavy cotton, straight fit, so for my curves/hips, it’s tight on bottom, but for yardwork (why I purchased), it’s fine. Need fun colors–this sage green is drab, though won’t attract bugs, so I’ll survive.

This shirt was uncomfortable in my normal size of SM (upper arms and shoulders too tight), so I sized up to MD. The MD fit better, however; the neckline opening is too large. The neck opening was this way on the size SM also. What good does a wide neck opening due vs mosquitos and bugs and not to mention sun protection. Poor design. Sometimes trying to make clothing more “feminine” totally ruins the purpose of them. I purchased the men’s size SM and it was perfect.

I bought this Tshirt for myself to ward of ticks especially after having been bitten for the first time by one early in the fall. I do a lot of gardening work so am pleased to have this new product for protection!

This is my 2nd insect shield long-sleeve tee from L.L. Bean, and I love them. Fit is great, not too large or too small (I wear a large). They seem to repel bugs and are fairly comfortable. I just wish they had a bit more stretch and came in more colors.

The shirt fits well and provides full coverage. It seems a little heavy for warm weather but I haven’t had a problem with bugs when I’ve worn it. Also like the color.

So far so good with regard to keeping away mosquitos and ticks. I am a magnet for both these critters and wore this shirt and the pants along with sensible covering on my hands and neck and head, no insect spray, and worked outside in a very brushy area for several hours with not one bite! However as far as fit goes this was a bit smaller than I’d like. I wish I had purchased a large, so I don’t put in dryer for fear of shrinking.

I have multiple LLB cotton knit shirts that fit nicely. This shirt puckers across the front – about one size too small. Will be returning the unopened shirts.

Stiff, even after washing, uncomfortable to wear. Not even sure repels insects.
