I use this as a jacket. I love the wide wale of the corduroy which gives the shirt a chunky, oversized look. I also dig the pockets and chambray accents under the cuffs.

These are perfect. I did not want it to be short on me like it appears on the model, so I went with regular instead of petite. My usual size here is a Large for relaxed-fit clothing, and this Large fits me perfectly all buttoned up. It’s heavy enough to be warm but not overwhelming or hot. I have it in purple, teal, and with the new colors I’m thinking about ordering a black one. I wear these all the time with a long-sleeve t-shirt underneath. And the best is that they are 100% cotton, which is all I will wear. They do not shrink and come out of the dryer ready to wear.

Loving this shirt and the fabric integrity. It’s not too boxy or masculine, but it’s not super fitted. Perfect for wearing over a light long sleeve or tee, or under a puff vest.

I was looking for a nice shacket (shirt + jacket) for fall. This was exactly what I was looking for! It really isn’t a jacket, but it can easily be worn in cooler temps over a shirt or sweater. The pockets are a nice addition too. As with most LL Bean items, it’s runs somewhat large. But it works with this shirt because I wanted a oversized look. Overall, another great product from LL Bean!

Love this – I got teal last year and liked it so much I got another (berry) recently. They made the pockets deeper. Perfect for autumn. Not lined, a tad loose like a big shirt, so you can layer easily.

I did not realize this shirt had pockets (love it) so I guess actually qualifies as a shacket? The quality is great, color is great, fits perfect although it is boxy. It looks great layered.

I don’t think that the pockets are as a big problem as other reviewers say, though the pocket are back just a little far. It’s not a big deal to me, though. I’m really glad to have pockets. Quality is great and it fits well. I hope it doesn’t shrink after it’s washed. I love the medium weight and am getting another one in the berry color. This one is in the bright blue color. Interesting that the tag says that the price originally was $49.95, not $59.95, so obviously the price has increased. This will be a great over shirt or course be a shirt all on it’s own, though I’m more likely to weight it overall a tee shirt. I’m glad I got this shirt.
