Have recently purchased a second shirt from this collection. Four years ago, I bought hubby the Juniper Seashells print shirt for his birthday and this year gave him the Silver Birch Fish. Love the fabric used in these shirts; they wash beautifully and I prefer to let 100% cotton clothes air dry and freshen it with a quick pass by the iron. The Silver Birch Fish pattern goes well with hubby’s traditional denim jeans and looks more dressed up, yet still casual, compared to his typical Henley tee shirts. Only improvement would be for LL Bean to offer one or two new fabric patterns each year to this classic style.

The color is great, the fabric washed well but did need a little ironing. The fit was a little large for a Large, but it is a summer “out” shirt and will be cooler if less fitted. My husband loves it.

Fabulously soft fabric. Wonderful fish print and color! Easy care! washes and drys well-no ironing! *. partially dry, on low heat, take out slightly damp and hang to finish – no wrinkles.

Well-made and perfect cut/sizing for me–I have found Bean’s traditional fit shirts to be just too full from the “third-button-down-from-the-neck.” Really nice fabric too. I liked this shirt so much I ordered another in a different color/pattern.

I’ve bought similar Bean Tropics Shirts in previous years and find them comfortable to wear as we get into the summers. They’re not nearly as lightweight as Madras, when Bean has them, but they seem to be the lightest cotton available. They’re made well, like all of Bean’s clothes, and I’ll probably continue buying them

Love this shirt but then again I knew exactly what to expect since this is my 6th LL Bean tropics shirt. None have disappointed. Perfect fit, great performance. My others have lasted many years. As always superior customer service makes shopping with LL Bean a real pleasure.
