I might've been able to go with an XL, the XXL is a little roomy, but I love the material. It's thinner than flannel and I imagine wearing these well into the spring and early summer. Love the overall fit of them and how they hang loose, they seem well made and the slim fit part of them means they look good (relatively, I mean they are pajama bottoms so we're not talking cocktail parties or anything. On the other hand, working from home in a pandemic means I'm practically living in my pajamas). I'm not a fan of the faux fly, but not because I would have ever used a real one. Just that I believe form follows function and I don't see the point of a fake fly. Just do away with that. But otherwise, quite happy with these.

I purchased these for myself (even though I am a woman), because I thought the pattern was so adorable. L.L. Bean, please tell me why this pattern is not available for women’s pajamas? I weigh 129obs and I am 5’6″. I ordered a small. The waist is a little too loose but since they are just pajama pants I decided to keep them. The fabric is nice and they are comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

I didn’t think that the Medium would be long enough. I have been wearing a pair of Large sleep pants from Polo for years. I needed a new pair and since I had a credit with L L Bean I purchased this item. At almost $50 I may not have made the purchase without the credit. I wanted a pair of sleep pants that did not have a drawstring waist. These are perfect.

The pj pants are great – BUT, I wanted a drawstring waist and these do not have a drawstring. I frequently wish that descriptions included the lack of a common feature – a little clarity for those of us who need the help would be much appreciated

the title is a little misleading as the only stretch is the waistband. And as always, I will have to shorten them as my husband is not that tall, but not your fault.
