My granddaughter outgrew her black and red plaid plush robe and was heartbroken so I went looking for another LL Bean robe and found this one, in her favorite color! She loves it and I love that the tie is sewn to the robe so it doesn't get lost or tangled in the wash.

The kids XL 18 fits a woman’s size six, though cuffs break a tiny bit shy. However, I find I like not needing to roll cuff sleeves. I have robes from Bean back to mauve of the 90s and they wear well. This is a rock-solid value at full retail.
There is no inner tie ribbon on this kids version.

I purchased the children’s 14-16 and it fits well, coming down to almost my ankles. It is a thick fleece and very warm.. The only “con” is the inside. the fabric is sewn at the hem but loose all around including the collar area. I may stitch it closed as it is always “out of line”.
