Emily –
Very soft and fits comfortably. I have only tried it on so far as it was ordered with the matching bottoms that keep getting back ordered. It seems like it is made well and light enough for hot summer nights.
Patty –
This is so soft and comfy. It’s a pajama top but I am using it as a shirt.
PNWlovesLLBEAN –
This top and the pants are so comfortable and soft I could live in them! I could have sized down to XS, but the loose fit is great for sleeping and I love the petal detail on the top and pants
No N –
The fabric is the best part. So smooth and soft and the lavender design is also subtle but attractive. Even though I got the petite Small the waist on the pants is still more loose than I need, but otherwise the swinging style of the top is very nice.
Missbarb –
I can’t say it looks like it does on the model, but it’s extremely loose (can’t believe it’s a petite!) and comfy.
PLGMWG –
Nice fit. Soft material. Comfortable to sleep in. Should have ordered another
DeniseK –
The top is huge, I could have easily gotten away with the next size down, but the fabric is soft and the top is very comfortable. The shorts are great for summer, and I would love it if they brought back the matching long pants before the winter (hint, hint).
PatH –
Love this 100%. Please make a long sleeve version with the same material for cooler months!!
Sailgal59 –
Soft comfort. Launders beautifully with no shrinkage or fading.
Arielle –
Very comfortable! Soft fabric. Size is accurate. Beautiful print.
Kathy –
Washes and drys nicely. It is a little big, but comfortable for a medium.
Whiteguy –
Excellent quality and workmanship. Once the L.L. Bean inventory is restocked, I intend to buy additional items in the collection for Christmas gifts.
Gafan –
Our daughter had surgery in June and i thought these pajamas looked like they would be very comfortable post op…the top is there without the bottom as it was on back order…she does have the full set and loves it…very comfortable and cool….
Leopup –
I purchased these to go with the pant sleepwear. Well made and very comfortable. Soft to the touch. Washes well and maintains color.
Luv22stp –
I ordered an x-small because I am 5’3 and between 117 – 120 lbs. The top fits great and I like the nice material.
VirginiaGrandma –
I had to wait a long time for these PJs due to backorder issues but it was definitely worth the wait! The fabric, a medium weight fine rib knit, and the styling of the garments, almost like a fluttery shape, work perfectly together. I do not like pajama tops with buttons because they poke you when you are sleeping and these are great. I bought a petite small and it is a tad loose but I like that for sleeping. LLBean PLEASE MAKE PJS LIKE THIS IN A LONG SLEEVE VERSION FOR WINTER!! I would buy every color!
Elly –
The top to go with the shorts was larger than I thought it would be. But the promo photos on the LLBean site show it as loosely fitted and fashionable as such. The fabric swings! I do love the set.

I am so glad I found these new LL Bean short pajamas (which I plan to wear year-round). Initially I was only going to order one pair of the sleep shorts in a print. Then I ordered the shorts in the other print, then I added the tops, then I added the solid-color shorts, and today I ordered the solid top. The fit is great and comfortable, but what I love the most is the amazingly soft fabric. It’s 50% cotton pima (which is the main fabric I buy for tees) and 50% modal. I’ve never felt a fabric this soft and airy and silky! It feels luxurious to put on. I’m super-fussy on sleepwear. I only like super-short nightgowns (too short to bunch under me). I don’t like anything that feels tight on my neck. I don’t like anything too warm. I have kept some short nighties for decades because I can’t find anything else! This is much better than any of my old ones though–which I can finally get rid of. I washed this in cold and hung it to dry, because I don’t want anything about it to change.
Paula –
I purchased this pajama set for my daughter. They’re soft and light, perfect for summer.
Happy E –
Very comfortable, pretty print but too large, even as pajamas.
Laura W –
Extremely comfortable, well-made, and wash well. Hubby told me they looked elegant! I hope LL Bean will continue carrying this style in additional colors and patterns.
Catgirl –
They are lovely pajamas. I got the blue flowered print, and they remind me of a Japanese watercolor. The top fit just fine, but the bottoms were big. I was worried since they didn’t come with a drawstring and Bean bottoms are always big on me. I made do with them because they don’t wrinkle and come out of the dryer just perfect…and I love the print.
Chez –
Very soft and comfy. Hung to dry for minimal shrinkage.
Teena –
Comfortable sleepset ensemble, color and print adorable.

This truly beautiful ReStore line of sleep-lounge wear is the best of its kind for this decades-long Bean customer. I didn’t think in a million years that I could wear something like this, but was I pleasantly surprised. First, I tried the medium, which actually fit perfectly, but – even though these are reviewed as running slightly larger at one’s normal size (not on me, however) – I prefer to sleep or lounge around in roomier clothing now that our next New England winter approaches, so I exchanged the Petite Medium for the Petite Large. I use the word luxurious because, for me, that is how they feel when I have them on. I splurged, took advantage of sales, Bean Bucks, Coupons, and the like, and I ended up purchasing all of the available shirt, short and pant sets in both prints and solids for year ’round wear. I adore the longer tunic-like tops which, at first, I didn’t notice until I received them. I’m a fussy shopper for sure and rarely gush over such things, yet I just can’t believe how lovely, soft and comfortable the ReStore Sleepwear feel and look. My older Bean cotton winter pant sets – well-worn indeed for some time – are finally in need of replacing, so I took a chance on something I viewed as different, and am I happy I did. They are definitely pricey, but as it turns out, worth every penny to feel so chic in clothes so comfortable. I sneaked out to the mailbox the other day and, after a quick conversation, my neighbor ran back to her house and placed an order for herself and for early holiday gifts. I just hope LL Bean will offer new colors for the upcoming seasons and not change a stitch on material or style. They seem to be selling-out right now, so this line is apparently popular enough for plenty of new color consideration in both prints and solids (purple print would be gorgeous), as well as keeping the ReStore wear on hand as a new favorite.
