Nice shoe overall but feels a bit narrow/small even though I bought a half size larger.

These were very comfortable and looked good. The only issue is that they run very, very narrow in the mid foot and toe area.

Very strong chemical odor. It smelled like formaldehyde.

Doesn’t fit as expected…and they squeaked when walking…..it was irritating and everyone heard me coming and laughed
JP –
Just didnāt feel as comfortable as needed for house shoes

I returned these. While these are a good example of LL Bean well made products, they are heavy, with a very stiff sole. Some folks may like them, if you need an insulated shoe that can go anywhere outside. I can’t see calling them slippers; they’re not comfortable enough for that label. Finally, the sole is so rigid that it made my ankle tendons ache.

First let me say that these are great looking shoes, and that’s really what they wear more like. I had a pair of the wicked good slippers that lasted me years until they ultimately gave way in the form of a detached sole.
I was looking for something a little more stylish and these hit the mark. I was excited when they arrived but my only knock on these is that they’re really not a slip-on style slipper. You can’t just slide your foot in and go. You have to sit down to put them on like you would a tennis shoe. There’s elastic around the insert that doesn’t allow that easy slide-in that I was hoping for.
The tread on the bottom of these is much more rigid than what you get on the wicked good slippers. You’ll definitely be heard coming down the stairs.
Otherwise, very happy with these but I was left kind of wishing they had some of the same things I liked about my wicked good pair.

Ordered the men’s version because I thought they would be wider than the women’s style, based on the reviews about the slip-ons being narrow. They were plenty long, but I needed a shoe horn to get them on. They were so tight over the arch that they were sent back.
Vladimir P –
They’re overly warm and they’re difficult to get into and out of because of the raised heel section.

I have had many articles of clothing from LLBean all great items especially your snow sneakers .. I ordered the ultralight they great except they are not wide enough I have to send them back.
The robe is just what I thought I was getting, great products from LL Bean.
Please bring back the wide footwear
Wardrobe B –
Way, way too small! Sent them back immediately. Won’t try these again
CT S –
Good feel, lightweight, sturdy foot bed, but too tight to get on. I had to go a size up to get into the slippers.
RobO –
These slippers/slip on shoes are well made but the toebox is very narrow (not healthy) and there is zero arch support (also unhealthy).
Beanfield –
My husband liked the look of this slipper. However, he didn’t like that they offered no support or structure. We returned them. He really liked the corduroy slippers offered several years ago.
Larry –
Wonderful fit and very comfortable. We’ll worth the purchase.
Dennis –
Very good.I picked the red color, not wild about the color but it was on sale for $30 oolars less and that was more attractive.
Clark –
Like that there light weight and can wear outside and no one knows there slippers.
Roger –
Nice quality shoe but a little tight in the front. Sad that LLBean doesn’t make shoes in width other than M.
Sue M –
Was hoping these would be a good house shoe. This slip-on is too narrow. We tried upsizing from a 10 to an 11 & he still couldn’t get it on. Both pair were returned.
Ken L –
Love them. Very comfortable and great for going out quickly or around the house. More versatile than slippers.
Omze –
A bit snug when you first try on , they adjust to you after a lt stretch out. Durable enough to wair to the garage or mailbox , even the store. Throw in the wash, don’t dry in dryer air dry in sun or over heater vent remember Wool, very comfortable to ware without socks keeps your feet toasty sz up if you plan on wairing socks
Public N –
Back of slipper too high, makes it difficult to step into.
Rich B –
Very comfortable and durable. Easy to clean. Wearable outside.
